High School Art & Design Exhibition and Contest Day Information
Exhibition
The UCM High School Art Exhibition is a selection of outstanding artwork which will be on display March 14–April 1, 2022.
We cordially invite you and your students to participate in the 2022 UCM High School Competitive Exhibition. The Information Letter to Teachers outlines the procedures for your school to follow to participate in the art exhibition.
Students are allowed two pieces of work and can enter any original work that falls into the following classifications:
- Drawing
- Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor)
- Mixed Media
- Printmaking (serigraphy, relief, intaglio)
- Fibers
- Design/Graphics
- Photography (minimum size 5” x 7”)
- Ceramics
- Sculpture
Contest Day
The UCM Art Contest Day is an event where art students come to the UCM Campus and create artwork on-site that will be judged for artistic merit or participate in non-competitive workshops. Contest Day activities will begin Friday, April 1, 2022, at 8:30 a.m.
In order for students to take part in the Contest Day, they must pre-register by Friday, March 18, 2022. Please refer to the Contest Day Information Letter to Teachers for procedures and more information. Most of the contest areas have a limited number of students participating due to facilities. Slots will be filled in the order in which we receive the registration materials.
